The Voorheesville girls' soccer team was no match for the defending state champion this week, but that's not the point.

Winning 11 straight league games, and giving up only five goals over that time, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo soccer team is rolling deep.

Opponents can't break the defense of the Guilderland girls' soccer team, which hasn't allowed a goal in seven games. Even an undefeated Shenendehowa squad couldn't score.

Voorheesville and Schalmont played a tense soccer match on Tuesday, and an international hero emerged.

The BKW girls' soccer team may be smaller and younger than opponents, but the team has a lot of heart, says the coach.

When Mike Kinnally first coached Dutch soccer a decade ago, the team never gelled. It's déjà vu for Kinnally this season, but he hopes the unique group of players can learn to work together.

It was a bad day of soccer for Berne-Knox-Westerlo...

The pressure is on for the defending Class AA champions from Guilderland, and the girls got off to a good start against Bethlehem.
