COLONIE — Fresh off a Section 2 title, the Guilderland soccer team is nowhere near finished with its season. The Dutch have struck gold, and the players seem to be performing at a higher level each time they step on the field.

The Guilderland boys' soccer team is Class AA champions for the first time since 2008, putting four goals on the scoreboard against Albany.

Voorheesville and Schalmont played a tense soccer match on Tuesday, and an international hero emerged.

The BKW girls' soccer team may be smaller and younger than opponents, but the team has a lot of heart, says the coach.

When Mike Kinnally first coached Dutch soccer a decade ago, the team never gelled. It's déjà vu for Kinnally this season, but he hopes the unique group of players can learn to work together.
