GUILDERLAND — David E. Sherry, a man whose compassion knew no bounds, died on Friday, July 11, 2014, after injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. He was 57.

Mr. Sherry was born in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Edmond A. Sherry and Carol Ganley.

GUILDERLAND — Julie White, a nurse who loved cats, died on Wednesday, July 9, 2014. She was 41.

She was born on Jan. 24, 1973, in Gouverneur, the daughter of Richard White and Joyce Ashlaw.

She graduated from Edwards-Knox Central School in 1991 and St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in 1993.

SOUTH WESTERLO — A longtime community volunteer, Beulah M. Sweet was one of the 1937 originators of the Catskill Valley Grange No. 1557 in East Durham.

Mrs. Sweet died on Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson after a brief illness. She was 96.

EAST BERNE — Ann Louise Dippolito was a versatile, family-focused woman who was entwined with others.

Mrs. Dippolito was a friend to Barbara Genter’s family and became an adopted grandmother and aunt, better known as “Annie.”

VOORHEESVILLE — The decorations adorning Terri Ann Biel’s home showed the energy and care she had throughout her life.

SCHENECTADY — Alan C. Bauder, a land surveyor who helped preserve pieces of history submerged under water, loved fun, the outdoors, and taking care of his family.

Mr. Bauder died on Monday, May 26, 2014, at Kingsway Manor in Schenectady. He was 67.

WESTERLO — Robert Dietz was bright in humor and wit. He worked his way from the shop to the general manager’s office at Hannay Reels Co.

Robert “Bob” Theodore Dietz died on Saturday, April 12, 2014, in Arizona — at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson — where he spent his winters. He was 86.

BERNE — A longtime highway worker, Joseph LiVecchi was enthusiastic about machinery and the outdoors.

Joseph V. LiVecchi died of cancer at his home early Saturday morning, April 19, 2014.  He was 50.

WESTERLO — In regular correspondence with her mother in New Jersey, Constance Teator included and received excerpted Bible verses that she pinned on her kitchen wall in Freehold, tucked into her Bible, and left out for her family to read.

EAST BERNE — A hardened farm worker in his youth and a dependable mechanic, Willard Dibble was tender with his family ties.
