Altamont Senior News for Friday, July 1, 2016

All are invited to the following luncheons with special guests in Altamont located at St. Lucy's Parish Center on Grand Street in the village at 11:30 a.m.  Please call Winne Klenotiz at (518) 861-5161 no later than Sunday evening prior to these scheduled events:  

— July 12: We will be scheduling Wanda from Wallgreens – bring a list of your medications to learn how they interact. The cost of lunch is $5;

— July 19: Katie Veiga will sing some old favorites to us and she will join us for lunch. The cost of lunch is $5;

— July 20: Our Hudson River Cruise trip leaves from St. Lucy's Parish Center at 9 a.m. For residents of Altamont, the cost is $45; for non-residents, the cost is $55. Lunch at a local restaurant is included.

— Aug. 10: A Slice of Brooklyn bus tour leaves from St. Lucy's Parish Center at 7 a.m. For residents of Altamont, the cost is $55; for non-residents, the cost is $65. A guided bus tour of Coney Island and Brooklyn includes pizza and a soft drink.

Fun Senior Day Bus Trips are non-refundable. To make a reservation, please make a check payable to the “Village of Altamont.”  Bring payment to the regular Tuesday luncheon; mail it to the Altamont Seniors, Post Office Box 227, Altamont, NY  12209; or drop it off at the village office.
