Holiday
The Westerlo Library will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 24 and Wednesday, Dec. 25 in observation of Christmas. The library will also be closed Tuesday, Dec. 31 and Wednesday, Jan. 1 in observation of the New Year.
Trustees meet
The Westerlo Board of Library Trustees will meet on Monday, Dec. 30, at 7 p.m. in the Hannay Room at the library. This is an open public meeting.
Dog therapy
Now that you are all done with retail therapy and many of you are ready to spend two full weeks off from school, the library has just what you need!
Shorty, the therapy dog will be at the library to offer a quiet, lovable, companion who enjoys being petted. Having a tough day, week or month, then come spend some time with Shorty and relax for a bit. He will be here 4 to 5 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 30.
Lego Club
Yes! Lego Club will be happening on Dec. 23 and Dec. 30. Drop in on Mondays from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. to play and create with LEGOs. Miss Lee is also available for homework help.
Winter break
Two weeks of no school! Look what you can do at the library.
Do you enjoy playing board games and putting together puzzles? The library has a selection of both for you to enjoy here in our Hannay Community room.
Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while working on a puzzle. Come play a game or two with your friends. The community room is a great place to spend time together.
Homebound Delivery Service
Can’t make it to the library? Let the library Come to you! Maybe you’ve had surgery or just don’t drive anymore. If you would like to take advantage of borrowing books, movies and audiobooks, your public library is standing by to help!
Our Homebound Delivery Service is a free library delivery service provided to the residents of the Town of Westerlo who are unable to visit the library. If you think this service might be right for you — or a friend or family member — call (or visit) the library during regular business hours at 518-797-3415.
