Book club

The book club has chosen two books for May:

— “Paradise on the Hudson” by Caroline Seebohm is about the garden created by Samuel Untermyer in Yonkers. The garden attracted thousands of visitors and later fell into disrepair and was revived in the 1990s;

— “The Hidden Life of Trees (What they Feel, How they Communicate, Discoveries from a Secret World)” by Peter Wohlleben. Peter Wohlleben is a German forester who writes on ecological themes.

The next meeting is May 20 at 6 p.m. Weather permitting, we will meet on the patio at the library (masked and socially distanced).
