Second Sunday Film

The library, on Sunday, June 9, at 2 p.m., will screen a two-hour movie, rated PG-13, which the Internet Movie Database describes this way: “On a summer vacation in the Singapore home of a man she hopes to marry, Chinese-American Rachel Chu is unexpectedly introduced to a rich and scheming clan that strongly opposes its member’s relationship with an American girl.”

Light refreshments will be served.

Needle Felting for Beginners

Please join Alison Swanson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 11, as she guides beginners in a wool needle felting project to create a cute cat. No experience is necessary, supplies will be provided — just bring your creativity! Please register.

Building your brand

Your brand is the unique image or perception someone has when thinking about you or something associated with you. The brand acts as your public image and is what distinguishes you from others.

Join us at 6:30 p.m., on Wednesday, June 12, to learn how to build your own particular brand using an elevator speech, business cards, working a room and unlocking your three Circles of Influence. You will also learn how to integrate social media into a comprehensive networking strategy.

Please register. This program is made possible by a New York State Adult Literacy Grant.
