Voorheesville Library Notes for Thursday, May 28, 2020

“The Darwin Affair” by Tim Mason is a Victorian-era thriller, where the controversial publication of “On the Origin of Species” sets off a string of murders, arson, kidnapping, and the pursuit of a madman. Mason’s book is the selection for the next Big Library Read as millions around the globe read the ebook.

The Friends of the Library will hold its annual meeting on the GoToMeeting platform on Monday, June 1, at 7 p.m. If you are a member in good standing and can attend online, please email the Friends at  for details and instructions.

There are open positions for members-at-large on the board of directors. If you are interested in serving with a fun and productive group, or would like more information, please email the Friends. The board now meets on Monday evenings to accommodate folks who work or care for children at home during the day.
