Schoharie Library Notes for Wednesday, August 17, 2022

The Schoharie Library is open on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.; on Thursday from noon to 7 p.m.; and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

— Discovery Tuesday: Aug. 16: Didgeridoo Extravaganza with Pitz Quattrone. Come experience the ancient Australian Aboriginal musical instrument, the Didgeridoo/Yidaki with world traveler and Didgeridoo Maverick, Pitz Quattrone.

Learn about the history, playing techniques, and how the Didgeridoo can be a critical component to many styles of music. This is all showcased by explanation, demonstrations, and musical performance. No registration is necessary.
