Middleburgh Library Notes for Wednesday, May 26, 2021

The Middleburgh Library will be closed on May 31 in observance of Memorial Day.

Online Storytime

On June 1 at 10:45 a.m. join Miss Terry for Stay at Home Storytime, a fun, interactive storytime for children 0-5 and their caregivers. We will read stories, sing songs, play games and participate in activities around a weekly theme. Registration is required. This storytime will take place on the Zoom platform. Once you register you will receive the Zoom join link.

  Virtual Insight Meditation

On June 1 at 5:15 p.m. our popular Insight Meditation group is meeting virtually!
What do you want most deeply? Seeing your life calmly and clearly helps answer this. Insight Meditation is a simple way to steady your mind, stop wandering in day-dreams, and end the suffering of troubling thoughts. Our group is a place to sit quietly in safety, supported by others; to allow understanding and compassion to arise; to encourage loving-kindness and patience. We welcome those with no experience to advanced mediators', teens to seniors. Registration is required. Please go to our website to register and receive the Zoom link.

Library doors open

The Middleburgh Library has now unlocked our doors.  Masks and social distance are required.  The Department of Health strongly recommends masks in indoor settings where vaccination status of individuals is unknown. As we cannot confirm vaccination status of patrons, the library will continue to require masks indoors until our children ages 2-12 have vaccine access. Thank you for helping to keep our children safe!
