Middleburgh Library Notes for Wednesday, February 3, 2021
Due to the rapid increase in COVID-19 cases in our county the library is taking a step back to providing only curbside service for our patrons. We are still here and will work our hardest to get you what you need.
Call to request books or do it online with your library card. Have books to pick up? Just give us a call when you’re here and we'll bring them out to the back porch.
We are happy to make you copies and fax your documents while you wait in your car. Hopefully, this will be a short setback and will be letting patrons back into the library soon. Please stay safe and take good care!
Board Meeting
On Feb. 8 at 6 p.m. the Library Board of Trustees will meet. The public is welcome.
Drop-in Storytime
On Feb. 9 at 10:45 a.m. join Miss Terry for a fun, interactive storytime for children 0-5 and their caregivers. We will read stories, sing songs, play games and participate in activities around a weekly theme. Registration is required. Once you register you will receive the Zoom join link.
Virtual Insight Meditation
On Feb. 9 at 5:15 p.m. our popular Insight Meditation group is meeting virtually!
What do you want most deeply? Seeing your life calmly and clearly helps answer this. Insight Meditation is a simple way to steady your mind, stop wandering in day-dreams, and end the suffering of troubling thoughts. Our group is a place to sit quietly in safety, supported by others; to allow understanding and compassion to arise; to encourage loving-kindness and patience.
