Construction update

We’re close to completion, on budget and 11 months ahead of schedule with our extensive building project, which is expected to conclude around Labor Day. More details may be found at:  https://bit.ly/GPLbuildingproject. Due to limited interior space from construction plus social distancing constraints, GPL is not currently open to public browsing. Please note:  masks are required upon entering our curbside room.

Curbside bags

Patrons sometimes ask why we use plastic bags for curbside pickup items. The answer is that it’s acceptable for not-for-profits like us to use plastic bags; this practice is only illegal for businesses.  Furthermore, plastic is waterproof, far cheaper than paper, holds multiple items together, and ensures privacy. If someone does not want the plastic bag, they may place it inside the green plastic bag recycling bin in the curbside room.
