Guilderland Library Notes for Wednesday, February 24, 2021

The 6,555-square-foot children’s addition being constructed at Guilderland Public Library features a prominent skylight emphasizing natural light.

The Guilderland Public Library Board of Trustees currently has four vacancies: two five-year terms, one four-year term, and one three-year term.

Interested parties who are age 18 or older and reside within the Guilderland School District are encouraged to email or call 518-456-2400, ext. 112 to obtain an information packet.

Candidate nomination forms, including signatures from qualified voters, are due to the Guilderland Central School District clerk by Monday, April 19.

The board candidate and budget vote will take place on Tuesday, May 18, at the five Guilderland elementary schools, in conjunction with the school district vote.

Federal and state tax forms and instructions are available for pick up during curbside hours inside our Normanskill Room.  Please follow the signs and use the side entrance.  

Printing on demand 

No printer? No problem! We can print a document up to 20 black-and-white pages or 10 color pages at no cost to you, and deliver it curbside with our PrinterOn service!

Simply visit our website at https://bit.ly/GPLPrint and follow the instructions. Send your document to us during curbside hours, then call us at 518-285-0050 to let us know; we'll get it ready for pickup. You can also use the PrinterOn app to send your print jobs.

Our one-on-one coaching for Apple products and résumé preparation continues through March! Maximize your usage of an Apple Watch, iPhone, Macbook, or Apple TV; or get assistance with our website’s Learning Express tool to craft your résumé.

Curbside hours

Checkout materials Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday from  1 to 7 p.m.; Saturday from  10 a.m to 2 p.m. and Sunday,  2 to 4 p.m.

Follow the signs and blue arrows and enter the side door of the Normanskill Room.  Return items anytime (except holidays) to the quarantine sheds in our main parking lot.  All fines are still waived.  Please note that our building is not currently open to public browsing.
