To the Editor:

Where can shoppers find a wide variety of locally produced gifts for the discriminating person who has everything?

To the Editor:

Last week, I attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Guilderland Senior Citizens meeting space located at the Mill Hollow Condominiums, formerly the Bavarian Chalet.  This new facility for the seniors is a fabulous enhancement for this worthwhile town-sponsored service.

To the Editor:

Who names their dog Cerberus?

A black and tan hound mix dog was found late at night on Pond Hill Road, outside the hamlet of Rensselaerville, back in August.

On Nov. 19, seventy-four of the goal of 100 district residents participated in the first summit on the future of Guilderland schools.  Altamont Mayor James Gaughan was one of the residents who participated.

To the Editor:

Altamont Community Tradition is looking forward to seeing everyone at the 13th Annual Victorian Holiday Celebration on Sunday, Dec. 14, from noon to 6 p.m.

To the Editor:

Year after year, it can be difficult to find something new to say about the tradition of sledding on Kirk Hill.

To the Editor

Altamont Community Tradition is very excited to see so many local businesses participating in this year’s Victorian Holiday celebration.

To the Editor:

Troop 50 Scouts from St. Madeleine Sophie Church held their annual holiday food drive on Nov. 15.

Troop 50 would like to say thank-you to all who helped us in our goal. We collected 3,386 food items.

The food will go to the St. Madeleine Sophie food bank to help the needy in our area.
