When Dennis Moore first came on the job the town had just purchased Tawasentha Park, and it was the only park Guilderland owned. The town now owns eight parks spread over nearly 600 acres.

After several years of entering, Robert Price won first place in the chili contest on Jan. 25 at the annual day of sledding, hot dogs, chili, and neighbors in the Knox Town Park.

Kids hopped on their sleds and took off as looks of glee or concern cross their faces at Guilderland's Tawasentha Park on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 5. A mother and her daughter, having finished a run, climb up the steep hill. 

Harold Gosling takes a tumble as a younger sledder, fur rippling to frame his face, appears serene.

Hundreds came out on Sunday, Sept. 22, to pick Cortland, McIntosh, and Macoun apples.
