VOORHEESVILLE — Voorheesville’s pitching was lackluster during its season-opening softball game on Monday with Albany Academy batters either crushing the low-velocity throws for big hits or getting a free base as the ball rolled to the backstop.

Until last Friday, the Guilderland girls' lacrosse team hadn't lost to a Suburban Council opponent since April 20, 2007.

Will the Voorheesville baseball team three-peat this season? Coach Kyle Turski and his players seem confident.

Guilderland seniors, best friends, and training partners, Josh LoGiudice and Mike Lainhart, wrestled at States for the second consecutive year. 

 

After two consecutive winless seasons, the Guilderland hockey team is on the chopping block in the proposed GCSD budget. Other high school hockey teams are also struggling to get players.
