Two nurses at The Grand in Guilderland Center were arrested for forcibly administering medication. They were reported by other staff members and immediately suspended, says management.

GUILDERLAND CENTER — Guilderland Center Rehabilitation and Extended Care Facility, a 127-bed nursing facility that provides rehabilitation and nursing services to patients who require either short- or long-term nursing care following hospitalization, will soon have a new name and brand.

Cited for violations in the past, the Guilderland Center nursing home is under new ownership, and administrators are showing off improvements.

The daughter of a resident called a Guilderland Center Nursing Home administrator and explained her concerns, she said, but received no explanations and no information.
