WESTERLO — After flipping his pickup truck in a residential driveway on Route 403, Thor M. Church ran from police and then knocked on a home’s door to get a ride before being arrested on March 26, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.

BERNE — Three students were arrested for allegedly breaking into Berne-Knox-Westerlo’s secondary school early Saturday morning, costing the district several thousand dollars in damage and stolen items, according to the Albany County Sheriff’s Office.

The boy said he had begun screaming and kicking Nathan D. Harrington, who then left the men's bathroom, according to police. He described Harrington, who lives in Bennington, Vermont, and is currently employed at Tullio Hair Studio in the mall.

NEW SCOTLAND — Following his Feb. 22 arrest on Western Avenue in Guilderland, Kyle Pianowski, of New Scotland, was sentenced this week to two to six years in state prison for driving while high on heroin.

On April 2, Pianowski pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated – impaired by drugs, a felony.
