Photos: Guilderville Cruises To A Win, One Qualifies For States
On Tuesday, Dec. 5, the Guilderland-Voorheesville swim team took on Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake. The team won 94 to 76 and Isak Brkanovic qualified for states in the 50-yard freestyle.

Record breaker: Guilderville’s Isak Brkanovic turns his head as he takes a breath during the 100-yard freestyle. Brkanovic won the event with a time of 50.15 seconds but also broke the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake’s pool record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22 seconds and qualified for states.
