On Tuesday morning, Oct. 18, the Guilderland girls tennis team took to the courts at Central Park in Schenectady to battle for an opportunity to head to the State Competition.

Smooth sailing: Guilderland’s Katrina Setchenkov, the top seed, hits a backhand shot in her second round match against Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake’s Meghan Porier. Setchenkov won 10-1 and then went on to win her third round match.
