Photos: Big Swings In Sectionals, Dutch Girls Send Two To States

Last Wednesday and Friday, Oct. 11 and 13, the Guilderland and Voorheesville girls golf competed at the Edison Club in efforts to make the state competition. The Guilderland girls finished third overall. Guilderland boys took their shot for a shot for the state qualifiers on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at Fairways of Halfmoon.

Landing nicely: Guilderland’s Jane Fanning hits her chip shot onto the eighth green during her final round of the girls Section 2 championships. Fanning shot an 85 in the final round and 168 for the two days which qualified her for states.
