At the start of the service, Town Highway Superintendent Steve Oliver speaks to the crowd that gathered as Sean McCutcheon’s widow, Cathy, wipes away tears while members of the Guilderland Town Highway Department, Guilderland Town officials, Guilderland Emergency Medical Services workers, Guilderland Police, friends, and family of Sean McCutcheon gathered on Monday afternoon at the town’s highway garage to dedicate a memorial to McCutcheon. A 19-year town employee, McCutcheon died on May 22, 2015, while working at the job he had loved. He was 54.
