Guilderland Varsity boys and girls took part in the 51st annual Colonie Relay Carnival at Colonie High School on May 7. The girls finished in second place with 87.50 points and the boys came in first with a combined score of 104.

Breaking a school record: Isabella Bruno was part of the long jump relay, teamed with Molly Dicaprio and Kacey Duncan, who jumped a total of 46 feet, 7 inches in the event. Here, Bruno clears the bar in the high jump where she tied for third. Bruno also won in the triple jump.

Leading the pack in the 1600-meter invitational, Guilderland’s Noah Carey is just ahead of his teammate Noah Tindale and Schenectady’s Maazin Ahmed. Carey won with a time of 4:17.6. Ahmed came up from behind to finish second, and Tindale was third.

Determined to clear the hurdles: Guilderland’s Zaviir Berry easily leaps over them in the 3 by 110-meter hurdle relay; Guilderland tied with Colonie at 47.40. Guilderland’s team consisted of Berry, Alfredo Salazar, and Andres Torres.
