Photos: Runners Heat Up On The Track, Dutch Send 12 To States

On Saturday, Feb. 10, Guilderland, Berne-Knox-Westerlo, and Voorheesville indoor track teams battled to qualify for the state competition on March 2 in Staten Island. Guilderland qualified 12 for the state competition.

Teamwork: Guilderland’s Will Smitas (2) and Aakash Iyer (5) battle in a crowd during the 3200-meter run. Smitas finished second with a time of 9:38.50 and Iyer in third with a time of 9:39.90 and both qualified for states.
