If you've driven by the library recently, you can see the progress being made outside as we prepare ground on the east end of the building for the new 6,555-square-foot children's addition.

Landscapes and logistics are changing rapidly at the library! We are currently on time and on budget with this project to upgrade our 1992 building. When completed — currently estimated at Oct.

The library is abuzz with activity! We now have a few solid weeks of construction under our (tool) belt, though it’s just the beginning.

The Guilderland Public Library is preparing to expand services offered and open the building to limited public use, while simultaneously planning to begin construction.

A special meeting of the Guilderland Public Library Board of Trustees is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 24, at 6 p.m., streamed live on our Facebook page.

We’re in the final stretch: Sept. 30 marks the conclusion of the information-gathering phase for the 2020 Census.
