GUILDERLAND — There are more than nine months to go before the next town election, and speculation is already running high in Guilderland.

Supervisor Kenneth Runion, a Democrat, is currently serving his eighth two-year term, and there have been rumblings that he will not be running again.

GUILDERLAND — A Guilderland native is showing his first independent film project, The CulDeSack Kids, inspired by growing up in suburban New York in the 1990s, to audiences at the Guilderland Public Library.

Guilderland was a lens for national issues in 2014, home to the first general killed in combat since Vietnam, the place where a Chinese family was murdered, and where an addict was accused of burglary before hanging himself in jail.
