Mary M. Miller

NORTH BETHLEHEM — Mary M. Miller, an encouraging special-education teacher and devoted community member, valued family above all else.

On Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, she “went home to be with the Lord,” her family wrote in a tribute. She was 95.

“A lifelong and devoted member of her community, Mary was a charter and life member of the North Bethlehem Fire Department Ladies’ Auxiliary and a life member of the Western Turnpike Rescue Squad,” her family wrote. “She served faithfully as a Eucharistic Minister and choir member at St. Catherine’s/Mater Christi Parish.

“Mary shared her time and talents as a Girl Scout and 4-H leader, and a teacher of Special Ed., encouraging and inspiring young people in her community.

“Above all, family was the most important part of Mary's life. She leaves behind her five loving children, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will continue to honor her memory. Legacy was her family; the love she created trickled down generations.

“Mary will be remembered for her faith, her service to others, and the love she gave so freely to all who knew her.”
