GUILDERLAND — Boy Scouts from St. Madeleine Sophie’s Troop 50 will be holding their annual bottle drive on Saturday, Oct. 14.

Scouts will be collecting deposit cans and bottles door-to-door. Pickup will begin 8:30 a.m. and run until until 2 p.m. Scouts will be collecting from East and West Lydius streets, Old State Road, Carman Road, Lone Pine, Fuller Station Road, Willow Street, Route 20 from Route 146 to Fuller Station Road, and in all adjoining neighborhoods off of those roads.

Residents may leave items for collections by their mailbox or drop them off in front of St. Madeleine Sophie School on Carman Road. Please note the change in the drop-off location from prior years.

Proceeds from the drive will be used to benefit the troop and its programs. For more information or if the Scouts missed your house on Saturday please call, me, Larry Vincent at (518) 859-9633. Again, thank you for your continued support.
