The New York Capital District Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring a “Giving of Our Time” luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 11, at the Guilderland Elks Lodge at 3867 Route 146 (Carman Road) beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:30 p.m. Please be prompt.

On the menu this month is vegetarian lasagna with Alfredo sauce with an alternative choice of grilled chicken salad. The cost is $17 inclusive (cash only).

Ginny Turner from Northville will be speaking on the topic of “You Never Know What You Will Find in a Doughnut.” As for our feature, Mike Saccocio from the City Mission will speak about the mission’s new developments and volunteer opportunities. Our music will be Cookie Sears and Janet Stassio entertaining us with keyboard and song.
