Route 20 Café celebrates reopening

GUILDERLAND — Route 20 Café at 1823 Western Ave. is celebrating recent renovations on July 16 with a reopening ceremony at 10:30 a.m.

Sue and Dan Lofrumento purchased the café in 2018 and have added a full kitchen and a new grab-and-go cooler with fresh daily meals. The café now offers catering and has a weekend full of specials.

“Route 20 Cafe and Deli is excited to offer homemade meals, fresh deli meats, Prinzo' breads and rolls as well as lottery, grocery and newspapers,” said Sue Lofrumento in a release from the café.

“For decades, the café has met the needs of our community by providing essential daily services, like fresh homemade meals, deli products, and newspapers, and this renovation allows for an expansion for new creative options,” said Guilderland Supervisor Peter Barber in the release.
