Juvenile arrested for arson at school

BETHLEHEM — A 16-year-old has been charged with starting a fire in a restroom of Bethlehem High School on Tuesday, April 23, while school was in session.

Bethlehem Police, according to a press release, charged the unnamed juvenile on May 6 with three felonies — first-degree arson, first-degree reckless endangerment, and second-degree criminal mischief — as well as with a misdemeanor: endangering the welfare of a child.

The juvenile was arraigned in Albany County Family Court and released to the Supervision of Albany County Probation.
