Donate pet food in honor of Joel Edwards, DVM

To the Editor:

The Altamont Reformed Church community is pleased to announce its Fourth Annual Joel Edwards, DVM Pet Food Drive, which will run from March 15 to 18.

This will help feed the pets at Guilderland  and Schoharie animal shelters as well as supplying patrons of the Altamont and Guilderland food pantries!

We will accept both dog and cat food, asking that dog food does not exceed 20 pounds. There will be collection bins just inside the church’s rear door and, weather permitting, outside the same door on Saturday for drive-through donations.

We look forward to the community’s involvement, honoring Joel’s many years as a dedicated local vet.  Surely the dogs and cats will be grateful as well.
