Praying for peace in perilous times

To the Editor:
These are perilous times.

Every day, we witness the horrific atrocities committed against our brothers and sisters in Ukraine, and it is hard not to feel helpless in the face of this tragedy.

Starting Tuesday, March 15, the Altamont Reformed Church will be opening its sanctuary every Tuesday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. as a place for personal and private prayer.

We welcome you to this sacred place to pray for Ukraine, and also for our nation, and for our neighbors. 

This is something we can do.
