Altamont Community Tradition accepts grant applications

To the Editor:
We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Altamont Community Tradition 2024 Community Grants.

Funded by event revenues and generous gifts, these small grants (up to $500) are donated to projects of local not-for-profit organizations that align with ACT’s mission of historic preservation and/or strengthening the village community through engaging activities.

The deadline for applications is March 1. Successful applicants will be notified by April 15.

In the past, ACT has supported the Altamont Archives, the Altamont Reformed Church, and the Altamont Free Library. In 2023, ACT donated to the Altamont Fair Historical Committee and the Altamont Elementary PTA.

The Community Grant Application and guidelines are available online at altamontcommunitytradition.org/community-grant-program.

Please feel free to contact us with questions at altamontcommunitytradition@yahoo.com.
