On Sunday, March 22, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys’ basketball squad looked to defend their 2025 state championship in Class C as they took on Section 3’s Cooperstown at Vision Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton. Shots weren’t falling for the Bulldogs and they fell, 52 to 43.

On Tuesday, Jan. 27, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys’ basketball team hosted a non-league matchup against Troy at home. In a matchup that was physical from the opening tip to overtime, the Bulldogs battled hard and scratched out a 69-68 win.

On Sunday, March 9, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys’ basketball team, the top seed in Class C, faced off against a familiar foe in Duanesburg. The Bulldogs faced the Eagles twice this year and won.

On Monday, March 3, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys’ basketball squad, the top seed in Class C, took to the court at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls for the Section 2 semifinals against North Warren with a date in the finals on Sunday against Duanesburg.

On Saturday, Feb. 1, in a Sectional-type atmosphere, Berne-Knox-Westerlo and Voorheesville battled on the court for the Helderberg Cup at Clayton A. Bouton High School. It was a physical matchup all game long as the Bulldogs pulled out a 58-to-51 win, securing the Helderberg Cup.

On Friday, Feb. 24, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys’ basketball team made the trip up to Shenendehowa High School for the Section 2, Class C quarterfinal matchup as the fourth-seeded Bulldogs took on fifth-seed Hadley Luzerne.

The Berne-Knox-Westerlo boys basketball team was home on a very cold evening, Jan. 21, to face-off against Western Athletic Conference foe Mayfield. The Bulldogs turned up the heat on the Panthers, winning 76 to 55.
