Children from Twinkling Stars Place Preschool hang donated gloves, mittens, scarves, and hats on the Mitten Tree at Hamilton Union Presbyterian Church at 2291 Western Ave. in Guilderland. The Presbyterian Women’s group is collecting these items for various charities in the community who serve those in need. Donations may be placed on the Mitten Tree in the back of the church sanctuary, in the collection box outside of the church’s Christian Education Building, in the box at the top of the stairs in the Christian Education Building, or at CeCe’s Wool in Hamilton Square. Items for men are especially needed.
