On Sunday, Dec. 17, the Berne-Knox-Westerlo indoor track team competed in the Tri-County Indoor Track league 3B at Union College. The boys finished in ninth with 20-points and the girls finished in eighth with 24-points.

On Sunday morning, Dec. 18, the Voorheesville indoor track team took part in the league meet 3C held at Union College. Voorheesville showed their speed and power on the track and field events. The girls team finished third with 57 points and the boys finished in eighth with 21 points.

On Sunday morning, Dec. 4, Berne-Knox-Westerlo took to the track at Union College in Schenectady to compete in the first meet of their season. Even though there were no scoring points awarded, the young Bulldogs showed off their skills in track and field events.

On Sunday, Feb. 27 Storm hockey made its first appearance at Union College since the team was merged, battling the Adirondack Rivermen in the Section 2, Division I semifinals. They battled tough but fell, 2 to 1.

The Voorheesville Blackbirds kicked off the 2019-20 indoor track season on Saturday morning at Union College. The non-scoring event was a good start for the Birds to see what they were made of.

The spring season opener Tuesday saw the Guilderland boys’ lacrosse team playing in a cold drizzle of rain, sleet, and snow, losing to Ballston Spa, 13 to 5. The fields were wet with leftover snow at Ballston Spa so the game was moved to the artificial turf at Union College in Schenectady.

The Guilderland Dutchmen indoor track team competed at Union College Saturday morning to start the season. The Dutch raced away from the competition by winning both the girls’ and boys’ titles; the girls’ team had 140 points while the boys’ had 130.50.

Running fast and flying high, the Guilderland boys’ and girls’ indoor track teams took to the track on Sunday morning, Dec. 18, at Union College in a league meet against seven other schools.

Terrence Rathwell's hockey goaltending career was lost in 1988, but his passion for the game lives on through his sons, most notably, Brandon, who is now in the national spotlight.
