FORT ANN — The trespassing cases of Albany County Legislator Deborah Busch and her boyfriend, Rory Russell, were adjourned on Wednesday until Aug. 13, according to Fort Ann Court Clerk Barbara Burch.

County Legislator Deborah Busch of Knox says she's confident the violations against her and her boyfriend will be dismissed, but she feels frustrated by the attention paid because she's a public official.

NEW SCOTLAND — Last Thursday afternoon, two young men climbed onto a rock ledge on the Indian Ladder Trail, and, according to police, spray-painted graffiti on the aged structure.

GREENVILLE — Catskill police arrested Brian S. Andersen of Westerlo after he threatened a woman with a knife during an argument on Feb. 7, according to State Police.

KNOX — Firefighters watched from afar as Kenneth Fortuin's buildings burned at his Saddlemire Road residence, unable to get to the scene on Wednesday night. Their path to the fire was blocked by cut-down trees and Fortuin, said to be armed, threatened to harm anyone who approached the scene, police said.
