BETHLEHEM — The Bethlehem Grange has extended its Christmas food drive due to continuing need.

“If  you or your group would like to donate any items, it would be greatly appreciated,” wrote Carol Carpenter, Grange president, in an email.

Students at Capital Region BOCES are collecting hats to help children battling cancer.

GUILDERLAND — It was worth the wait because once the numbers were crunched, counted and confirmed the Bonide Charity Week for Guilderhaven at Gade Farm was Bonide’s highest charitable donation yet.

We have plenty of people to thank, starting with Art Cockett and the Bonide company for their generosity.

Richard Decker was assigned to represent Japan in the United Nations Development Program and Benjamin Denn represented Kuwait in the World Health Organization.
