A woman who gave her whole hearted support to female athletics at Berne-Knox-Westerlo is to be honored posthumously at the second annual induction ceremony of the BKW High School Athletic Hall of Fame next Thursday.

BKW Business Manager Sarah Blood told The Enterprise that the erroneous bills were sent to 325 property owners in Westerlo.

District administrators and teachers are hoping that two agricultural courses will eventually lead to the development of a complete agricultural-science course sequence.

The victims were underage boys, residents of Berne, and students at Berne-Knox-Westerlo.

According to the State Education Department, a majority of BKW students in grade 3-8 who took the spring 2016 English Language Arts test  scored below proficiency levels.

BERNE — When Patrick John Stempel, also known as P.J., graduated this June and celebrated this past weekend, he was the third generation in his family not only to graduate from Berne-Knox-Westerlo, but to be a certified emergency medical technician.

The reorganization meeting also tapped Lillian Sisson-Chrysler, a board member since 2015, to be the board’s new vice president.

In a prepared statement,Timothy Mundell, the BKW district superintendent, said McMorris is moving on to “new professional opportunities, we wish her the very best.”
