Daniel Barker, Altamont’s new historian, would like to scan historic documents and make local oral history available on the village’s website.

The first grand ball given by the three bachelor girls of Clarksville will be given in Joslin’s hall Dec. 29. Good music will be in attendance. Refreshments will be served. All are invited.

Pay-Up Week.

This is National Pay Up Week. It began on the 21st and will end on the 26th. A number of our friends, in making their rounds and squaring their accounts, have forgotten the editor. But there is still time.
