YMCA gives swimming lessons

GUILDERLAND — The Guilderland YMCA is presenting an adult learn-to-swim program open to the public and all YMCA members on Friday mornings from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. for eight weeks, running from Sept.13 to Nov. 1.

Classes are in small groups.

All levels of instruction are offered from beginner to advanced swimmers and are taught by certified swimming instructors.

The cost is $70, payable to the Guilderland YMCA at the front desk. Parking and locker-room facilities are free. The pool is accessible to people with handicaps.

Registration is held on Sept. 13 at 9 a.m. at the front desk.
