Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:

Most politicians at the national level realize that you don't tamper with Social Security, Medicare, and the Post Office. And another advisory for Guilderland politicians to observe: You don't mess with newly elected Guilderland Town Clerk, Jean Jarrett Cataldo.

To the Editor:

This Father’s Day, we celebrate all the men in our lives and many men in the Albany area who take on the role of Fresh Air father, as they open their hearts to New York City children through the Fresh Air Fund’s Volunteer Host Family Program.

To the Editor:

I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to our Guilderland residents who have used the town website to access the minutes of our board meetings.

I strive to make the minutes as informative as possible.  I’ve included almost verbatim the remarks made at public hearings.

To the Editor:

While I have been a resident of the area and reader of The Enterprise since the late 1960's, I believe this is my first letter to your newspaper. The letter regarding "today's generation" and "narcissim" (sic) in the May 29 edition forced my hand.

To the Editor:

Like many other Guilderland citizens, I use the town website to access information on a number of issues. With regard to town board business, I have been able to read about meeting agendas prior to each meeting.
