Thacher Park Celebration is a must-see exhibit

To the Editor:

This holiday season, if you’re looking for something to do with friends and family for a few hours, take a ride to some present-time and 100-year-old artifacts and pictures.

Reminisce about the times you had picnicking, walking the trail, or working at the pool and grounds, or just looking over the view.

So you should visit the New Scotland Historical Association’ s exhibit, “Thacher Park Celebration.” The museum, in the old schoolhouse in New Salem, called the Wyman Osterhout Community Center, is open Sundays only from 2 to 4 p.m.; at the corner of routes 85 and 85A, across the road, look for the old ticket booth.
