We need a safer school playground

To the Editor:

We think that we need safer equipment on the Berne-Knox-Westerlo school playground because some kids fall off the equipment and get seriously injured.

We think that the swings should be replaced because some kids are swinging over the bar and getting bloody noses.  The tower should be replaced with a shorter tower that is more stable.  The kids’ feet can get stuck in the bars.  The littler kids can fall through the bars and get seriously injured.

We would like to have a bigger basketball court.  Also, we would like to have the monkey bars we had when we were in kindergarten.
