Help is flooding in to the resource center

To the Editor:

With November almost over and Thanksgiving coming up next week, I would like to take the time to thank all of the generous donors helping to support the Hilltown Community Resource Center and local families this holiday season. Large sums of donated money, hygiene products, and canned goods have been flooding in.

The HCRC has been distributing your donations to Hilltown families in need so that they can also have a happy Thanksgiving this year with their loved ones.

Even with the help of all of your donations, families in the Hilltowns are still hungry and in need of help. Your local food pantries are very low on tuna fish and canned stew currently, but, of course, any type or amount of donation is greatly appreciated and goes directly to the people who need it most this year.

On the behalf of the HCRC and the people they are helping, I would like to wish everyone a safe and enjoyable Thanksgiving and holiday season.
