We change the world by first changing our hometown

To the Editor:

After 14 years, Guilderland has an opportunity to usher in a new era of leadership with leaders willing to ease the tax burden with more responsible development and reining in spending interests. We can open up town government with 21st-Century transparency that will make residents more aware of what’s going on and more able to interact with their leaders.  We can provide a new energy that delivers a passion for constituent service.

Since April, I have taken this vision to every street in town. These over 8,000 door-to-door visits have reminded me our greatest resource is the people who live here.  We’re educated, hard-working people who love our families more than words can express. We’re also frustrated, with Washington dysfunction, Albany corruption, and our relentless local tax burden.

I can’t change Washington or Albany, but I can change Guilderland and you can be part of it. We change the world by first changing our hometown.

This exciting transformation awaits us. But change only occurs when you vote for it.

I have a strong record of looking out for you. A vote for me for supervisor and for my running mates on Row B or Row G will let this transformation begin.
