Community garden planned for Knox

To the Editor:

At the most recent Knox Town Board meeting, I was asked by Supervisor [Michael] Hammond to solicit interest in having a town community garden.

The idea is to have a place in one part of the town park lands where people could reserve their own space to grow whatever vegetables they might like for their family to enjoy this simmer.

Councilman [Nicholas] Viscio suggested that we might like to start a "garden club" that might beautify parts of the town with flowers, etc.

So, if anyone from the town of Knox is interested, please contact me, as soon as possible at 872-2802
