Letters to the Editor

To the Editor:

I meant to write this letter some time ago. As usual, I was lax.

I deeply appreciated and enjoyed, Keith Lee’s book Images of America Altamont. I phoned Keith to tell him what a great book it is and how much I appreciated it.

To the Editor:

I had a thought: wouldn’t it be wonderful if a society and cultural group would settle and live peacefully in America?

To the Editor:

On Sunday, Jan. 11, our family experienced a devastating loss when our barn caught fire in the early evening.

ALTAMONT — Two works by renowned artist and longtime Altamont resident Ed Cowley are among the “live” auction offerings at this year’s the Altamont Free Library’s Black And White (and READ all over) Gala. Cowley died on Oct. 11, 2014 at the age of 89.

To the Editor:

I’d just like to offer an extra “thank you” to the people who turned out to help at the fire in Rensselaerville recently.  It took the efforts of a number of companies in both Albany and Greene Counties to keep all of us safe that day.
