GUILDERLAND — Developer Christopher Meyer has been appearing before the town board and the planning board for nearly 10 years seeking a zoning change for his subdivision along the Black Creek.

Jean Cataldo, the town clerk, who is also a Democrat, said there is a minimum requirement of 10 posted notifications for a caucus.

There’s something for everyone on Tuesday evening at Tawasentha Park for the annual National Night Out put on by the Guilderland Police Department — one of the largest crime-prevention gatherings in the country.

The two suspects and victim are all males and 16 or 17 years old, Altamont Police say. A pair was reportedly looking for marijuana when the deal went bad and they dragged the dealer from their car.

New York State Police public information officer Mark Cepiel said the investigation in the murder of a family of four last October was still ongoing and there was no new information. But, he said, all evidence had been removed from the house, and the owners were free to do as they pleased with it.
